My baby turned one!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. We spent a week at my parents cabin. We celebrated Grayson's birthday there. My parents have a guy from their mission staying with them. My kids were calling him Grandpa George. He was so great with the kids. They LOVED him!

We had a busy week last week. We went to Boise and spent time with our family. On Saturday we had the opportunity to go to the temple with Jeremiah's grandma and did all the work for his grandfather who passed away in 1999. It was a wonderful day!
Then when we got home my mom took us all to the zoo for her birthday and we had a picnic.

On Sunday after church we headed up to my parents cabin for a few days. The boys were so happy there. They had such a great time exploring and getting dirty. It was VERY relaxing. We can't wait to go back in a month for Nanna's Camp!

Easter

We did our Easter on Saturday morning. My sister Jenny turned 30 on Sunday so we went to her house late Saturday night to surprise her. My poor boys look so tired in all of these pictures because we have been traveling like crazy! We have gone somewhere every weekend for the last 5 weeks! It has been fun but we are ready to be home for a bit. Easter was fun because I had two that were really into it.

Grayson is staring to get on all fours and scoot backwards. The older boys think this is so funny so they love to get down with him, which he thinks is great. They are at such great ages now and we are having such a great time. I just LOVE my boys!

Carson has started playing these little kid games on nickjr.com. He plays them all the time. Landon loves to sit next to him and watch him play. It is crazy because he is actually really good at them.

Day at the park

So we had a pretty nice day last week. It was almost 50 degrees! We took the kids to the park and they had such a great time. It has been a long winter for all of us. I love this park because it doesn't have any bark or sand to dig out of the kids shoes the whole time we are there. I am looking forward to warmer weather!

I did it!!Carson is OFFICIALLY potty trained!! We started the beginning of February and it has taken him about a month, but he isn't even wearing pull-ups at night. I can't tell you how happy I am to only have 3 in diapers now!

Girls Trip

This weekend I was able to get away with a few girlfriends. We went to Salt Lake and hit a few scrapbook stores and did some other shopping. We had a great time and was a much needed getaway for me!! Thanks Jeremiah for being so great and watching all the kids!

So today was Carson's first day as a Sunbeam in church. He was a little nervous at first but he warmed up quickly. I spied in on him a few times and he was sitting there with his arms folded grinning ear to ear. I love him so much and am so proud of him. I look forward to many more firsts with him.

We got a ton of snow this weekend. We had great times outside. We even went sledding. It was a little too hectic to take pictures but we all had a ton of fun. Carson would ask to go again before we were even at the bottom. Landon didn't show emotion either way so I guess if he wasn't crying then I guess that means he liked it.

The other night Jeremiah had to run into work. I got to snuggle with all my boys in bed. We were having such a great time I lost track of time. Jeremiah came home at 11 and was shocked to see us all still awake.

Grayson's Blessing

We blessed Grayson in Boise on the 13th of December. Jeremiah did it in my parents ward. My parents reported their mission the same day and my brother Dustin blessed his little girl Melody the same day. It was great to have all of the family that was there. Jeremiah did a wonderful job. I have been terrible about my blog lately so here are some pictures. They aren't great but the best we can do with three little boys.

We haven't really been up to much lately. Just kind of hanging out waiting for a new baby. The boys have found ways to entertain themselves.

Landon (still not walking) loves to get into all the cupboards and pull EVERYTHING out. It is a ton of fun to clean up over and over.:)

Carson loves to dump all the toys from the bin and then get in with Landon for Jeremiah to give them a "boat" ride.

No Carson doesn't still have a binki, he just thinks it is funny to put Landon's in. As you can tell he never took one and has no idea what direction it is even suppose to go in your mouth.

Camping

We had the pleasure of going camping last weekend with Jenny's family. We took Ruby Sue (the r.v.) up to the canyon. We had such a great time! For being 9 months pregnant...it was my kind of camping.

Jeremiah tried to teach Carson how to fish but he didn't show much interest. He ended up in the lake playing instead. It was fun though.

It was raining the last morning so the kids hung out and watched a dvd on the bed.

I told Landon to smile and say cheese. Instead he thought it was funny to cover his face. I live in a house full of boys that tease me all the time.:)

Summer Fun

Last night Jeremiah and Carson were running through the sprinklers. They were having a ton of fun. Jeremiah taught Carson how to fill your mouth with water and then spit it out. It was pretty funny!

We found out about a month ago that we are having another little boy. He will be joining us September 15th or so. We are excited to have another little one. It will be a little crazy for awhile...but I imagine they will all be really close....(and not just in age.) :)

The boys love to stand at the back door and watch all the birds out in the backyard. We must have a nest close because there are a bunch out there.

Carson went outside with Jeremiah the other night. I went out to check on them and they were washing my car. It was a nice surprise.

I know this is the same as my last post a few weeks ago...but I just love that we live close to cousins. Carson has so much fun playing with them. I watched Jenny's kids during the days while she was at girls camp. Carlee and Bodie brought over their backpacks...so Carson had to have his. They put them on and then played "fireman" all day. I just love to see how much they love each other.

I watched Jenny's kids yesterday. They are like the Three Musketeers....lead of course by Bodie.

I love this picture because they are all looking up to the older one. It is one of my favorites.

Carson had speech therepy yesterday so I put Bodie and Carlee up in my room in front of a movie. When Carson was finished he signed "all done" to his teacher and ran upstairs to join his cousins.

Landon LOVES Bodie! He gets so excited whenever Bodie is around.

Campout

The other night Jeremiah and Carson decided to have a campout in the living room. Sadly the only tent we have is a kid's play tent. It was funny to see Jeremiah with only his head in the top and legs out. They lasted until 12:30 then both ended up in bed with me. Too bad because I was looking forward to a great night sleep alone.

Bodie came over the other night to play. Jeremiah hooked up a push car we have to Carsons motorized jeep. Bodie pulled Landon around the cul-de-sac for over 45 minutes. Landon loved it! I think Bodie felt pretty cool.

Landon had his 1st birthday on Thursday. I can't believe that he is already a year old. We had Jenny's family over for dinner and all the fun! Jenny was babysitting Katie's youngest two. Six little ones made for a great time.:) After dinner we played with bubbles.

So I was feeling creative and saw this cake online and decided to make it. I thought it turned out really cute and I was very proud. I had to show someone right away. The only one home was Carson. I brought him into the kitchen and showed him the cake. He was so excited. He started signing duck and was freaking out. That was my first mistake. Every five minutes he would run up to me signing duck and then run to the fridge to have another look. I warned him over and over not to touch. It was getting close to party time and I was on the phone with my mom and walked upstairs for a minute. When I came back down Carson was no longer watching Dora. I ran to the fridge to find both hands and face covered in yellow frosting!! When he saw me he burst into tears. I am talking the huge kind that run down your face. I was laughing so hard. I felt bad because he knew he wasn't supposed to touch. It was too much temptation to handle. I wish I had taken pictures but I was too busy comforting him and his hiccup cries. I thought I could fix the frosting, but he got chunks of cake out as well. It was great!

Landon had a lot of help opening presents.

I think the paper was his favorite part.

By the end he was all tuckered out and ready for bed.

So a couple of days ago Jeremiah opened a can of frosting and brought out the graham crackers. I think it is nasty and prefer my frosting on a cake. Well Carson loved it and they sat and ate it together. Then the night before last, Jeremiah was at work, Carson got into the fridge and got the rest of the frosting out. Then wanted me to get him the crackers. With every nasty bite he would look at me and smile. Then say,"Ummm!" It was pretty funny so I had to get some pictures.

Jenny watched my kids the other day and took some cute pictures. Carson was loving Bodie's scooter...except he has no idea how to ride it so poor Jenny had to push him around the house on it. Thats why we love her!

Recap of 2008

I saw this on my sister-in-laws blog and thought it might be fun to do. 2008 was a great year for us. It seemed like so much happened and it flew by for us.

January- Jeremiah got a new job in Utah. We packed up most of our things from our home in Idaho Falls and he moved to Utah to live with Jenny and Phil. Carson and I went to Boise. I went to work at my old job and my mom was kind enough to watch Carson while I was at work.

February- I celebrated my 25th birthday.

March- We got an offer on our house in Idaho Falls.

April- We welcomed our sweet little Landon into the family on the 23rd. He spent 5 long days in the NICU.

May- We closed on our house in Idaho Falls. Uncle Devan left for his mission to Canada. Carson, Landon and I moved to Utah to be with Jeremiah.

June- Nana and Papa left for their mission to Hawaii.

July- We had a wonderful fourth of July with Jenny and her family. We played outside in the nice hot weather. Jeremiah turned 31. Ouch!

August- We made a trip to Boise with Jenny and me with all the kids. We had a great time staying with Uncle Duzzy and Aunt Lyndsey.

September- We had a reunion in Park City with all of the Jeff Wright children (minus Devan) and their families. It was a lot of fun and great to see the Arizona cousins. Carson had his 2nd birthday on the 29th and then got tubes in his ears the following day.

October- Jenny, Ana, JaNae, and I had a girls weekend with Grandma Doman. We missed Katie though due to sick children. We had a great time and cleaned grandma's house. We had a great Halloween and found out how much Carson LOVES candy!!

November- We went to Idaho Falls and spent Thanksgiving with our good friends the Varvels. We had a great time!

December- We had a great Christmas! We also got to talk on the phone to Uncle Devan.

We had such a wonderful 2008 and are so grateful for all of our family and friends. We are very blessed. We look forward to a great 2009.

Christmas

Carson coming downstairs on Christmas morning. He was really excited to see everything! Landon was really cute opening his presents. My parents sent them the cutest presents. They were coconuts that were from their backyard. They cleaned them out and attached a zipper so you could open them up. They filled them with candy, money, and a cute little note. The kids loved them. My parents are so creative!! Carson has been loving all the snow we are getting. He goes out at least once a day if not more. He is such a little snow bunny! We are so greatful to have good friends. My parents are on a mission in Hawaii and we usually spend Thanksgiving with them. We needed to go check on Cold Stone so our wonderful friends the Varvels invited us to spend the holiday with them. We had such a great time! They are great friends and we are lucky to have them!!

Carson had such a great time playing down in Bailey's playroom. Jeremiah wasn't thrilled about his choice of toys....but Carson was having the time of his life.

This is Carson's way of telling us what he wants because he still isn't talking. He drags us around and points at what he wants.

Trish and I went and saw Twilight and did some shopping. Bailey was a great babysitter and Landon loved her. He was always smiling and laughing at her.

Carson loved Sawyer. He would do something and then look for approval from Sawyer. It was too funny! They enjoyed watching Backyardigans together. I am not sure who was more entertained...Carson or Sawyer.:)

Snow Day

We got a ton of snow last night so Carson and I went outside to play.
He doesn't have snow pants and I can't find his winter coat so he is just wearing whatever I could find...but it worked just fine.

He had such a great time.

He helped roll the snow for the snowman. Then when we were putting on the face he was freaking out! It was cold but we had a great time!

We had a great Halloween. It was so much fun to have Carson old enough for Halloween this year. We went to Trunk or Treat at our church. It only took him 2 or 3 cars to get the hang of it. If he had to wait in line for any of the candy he would just start taking it from the bucket of the kid standing in front of him. He was cracking me up. It was no nonsense. He was there only for candy. Everyone would try to talk to him but he didn't care. We got to this one car and there were two ladies and one guy. They were sitting there talking and the lady on the right had a bowl of candy. Carson bypassed the candy and went straight to the second lady. He was chattering to her and telling her who knows what. Then he tried to kiss her. If anyone knows Carson, he is not the most social kid. We were tripping out and couldn't figure out why he kept trying to get this lady to kiss him. Then she looked up at me and she looked just like my mom. We then realized that he probably thought it was his Nana. It was the sweetest thing. The lady thought he was so sweet. It made me happy to know that he won't forget my parents while they are gone.

This weekend Jeremiah and I went to Idaho Falls to check on Cold Stone. Jenny and Phil were nice enough to take the kids over night. Bodie is going to be a police officer for Halloween. During the day Jenny and I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese. Jeremiah came and met us on his lunch break. We all had a great time, especially Jenny. She probably played the most games of anyone and was attempting to master them. She was so funny. Then Jenny's family came over and we had Carson's favorite dinner...macaroni and cheese. Yummy:) After that we did presents and cake and ice cream. The night would not be complete without a dance party to Carson's favorite song....Maroon 5's Makes Me Wonder. All the kids had a great time dancing and I got a cute video. We had a great day.

Tubes

Carson had tubes put in his ears on Tuesday. He did pretty well. They could not get him to wear the hospital gown or the little socks. So he just wore his diaper and shirt. These are a couple of pictures of him waiting to go back into surgery. He was having a great time. The post surgery wasn't so pretty. When they walked in the room I said,"Hey buddy, come see mommy." I put my hands out and he came to me and laid his head on my shoulder. Then two seconds later he sits up and smacks me across the face! Hard. It was probably the hardest that I have ever been slapped.(OK I don't get slapped often..but it hurt!) Then I passed him off to Jeremiah. Had it been any other day...well we will just leave it at that. Actually if it had been any other day I probably wouldn't have been slapped. It was almost like he was angry with me. Looking back it is too funny!

So I don't know if is the terrible twos or the fact that Carson can't talk..but he gets so angry so fast!! If I am doing something he doesn't want me to do such as sing a long with his shows or take pictures of him, he gets really mad. The other morning he was eating oatmeal, by himself of course,and had made a huge mess. I thought it was cute so I tried to take a picture. He was not having it. I had to show him the picture I took so he understood what I was doing. The next picture is him realizing that he was getting his picture taken, as you can see he was more than willing to cooperate. Go figure.

My dear friends the Mancuso's are moving away. I know that I left Idaho Falls first but I am really sad I won't get to see them when I go back. They are moving to Texas so I probably won't see them until my kids are old enough for me not to go nuts taking them on the trip. Maybe I will never make it.:) Laura has been such a good friend to me and I am sad to see her go. It is a great opportunity for them and they will be closer to all of their family. Same Old..

I am sorry for all the big brother posts. We just really haven't gone and done anything lately so this is just us hanging around the house. I love watching the way Landon loves Carson. He will sit is his swing and watch Carson run all over the house and just smile at Carson. Sometimes when I am making dinner and Landon starts to get fussy I just tell Carson to go play with Landon and it funny to hear Landon get quiet. Carson just has to stand by him and he will quit crying..not always but most of the time. Carson has started playing really well by himself. He can stay entertained for hours. It has been nice that he can be content without someone playing with him. (And no that is not him whinning it is him saying "Oh no!" )

Park City

This last weekend we were invited by the entire Capell family to go with them to Park City. It was so very nice of them to invite us. We had a really good time. It is fun to get away even if it is just for one night. The rooms were gorgeous!!! Thanks Capells.

We set up Carson and Carlee with a movie and popcorn so that we could watch a movie as adults in the living room. They were pretty cute.

On our way back from Park City, we missed our exit and ended up in downtown Salt Lake. It actually made for a great day. We took Carson to the water fountain at Gateway Mall and he had a blast running through it.

I am so lucky to have so many kiddies that love to help me out.

This is a picture of our friend from Idaho Falls. She started "babysitting" for me when Carson was a baby. I would pay her to come over and play with Carson so I could get some house work done. Carson loves her!! She is a great babysitter and is so happy to now have Landon to take care of.

Bodie is an awesome babysitter. I will always ask him to watch Landon so Carlee and Carson won't pull him off the couch. He is great. Whenever I get done with what I am doing he will say.."I didn't let those babies get him." I was over at Jenny's tonight and she was doing my hair. I asked Bodie to watch Landon for me. When Jenny was done with my hair, we found Landon surrounded with toys and Bodie's two blankets on him. If you know Bodie with his blankets...it was huge for him to share those with Landon. I thanked Bodie for "babysitting" and he said to me.."Landon is the happiest baby in the world." It was pretty cute. He loves Landon. In fact, Jenny now has to name her next baby Landon Boston.:)

Carlee LOVES Landon. She will get right in his face and say.."Hi Landon, Hey babe." It is so cute. She will also say over and over.."Hold baby, hold baby, hold baby." Landon is so lucky to be loved so much.

Some friends of ours from Idaho Falls came to visit us. We went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Carson LOVED it. There was a lot for him to do and look at.

We went to see the farm animals after the dinosaurs. It was HOT!! We had fun seeing our friends.

I got tired and Carson was nice enough to let me have a ride.:)

Family Movie Night

On Saturday night Jeremiah had an great idea to have a family movie night. He moved the the furniture around and brought out tons of pillows and blankets. It was a lot of fun. Since this is the way Carson acts anytime the tv is on, we thought he would sit still and love watching a movie. Turns out that the pillows and blankets were the best part. Carson was really into the movie and was loving the popcorn.Then.... the popcorn was gone,and he lost all focus.I think Shrek the Third was a little too advanced for him. We all had a great time regardless and decided to do it at least twice a month.

Yuba Lake

Carson loves to play in the water. I had the cutest video of him playing in the waves...but I am an idiot and was messing around with my camera and erased my memory card on my camera. Much thanks to Jenny who always has her camera and takes a million pictures!

Jeremiah was a good sport to play with Carson the whole time. He would throw a fit if we tried to take him out of the water. He would be shivering and purple and be angry we were making him get out.

Carson went on the jet ski with Jeremiah and me. He loved it. When we came back in his head was bobbing and he was falling asleep.

Landon was so good. He slept the whole time we were at the lake. On the way home Jenny and I were in the back of the car with him. He was cracking us up with all his goofy smiles. He is such a happy baby. It is fun to have a smiley baby because Carson was always so serious as a baby.

4th of July Weekend

We went to the parade in Provo with Jenny, Carlee, and Bodie. Jeremiah was so sweet to keep Landon at home, I didn't want it to be too hot for him. The weather was perfect..just right, but it was nice to go with just Carson.

Pool Day

We had pool day at Jenny's yesterday. Carson was crazy...the water was freezing and he could have cared less. We had such a great time.

When we were in Boise we blessed Landon at my parents house. Jeremiah did such a good job. It was great to have my brother Jeremy there! I just wish that Devan could have been there also. Landon screamed through the whole blessing. What a sweetheart!:)

My parents were called on a mission to Hawaii. We went to Boise this eekend for there farewell. They leave on the second of June. They will be gone 18 months. We hope to be able to go visit them.:)

My little brother Devan left for the MTC May 12th. He will be flying out to Canada June 2nd. We will miss him!!!

Landon Jonas Temple

Landon was born April 23 at 2:05 pm. He was 4lbs 13oz. He was taken two hours after delivery to the NICU for low blood sugar. He stayed there for 5 days. It was so sad leaving him at the hospital. Jeremiah and I were able to stay there with him at the hospital in these rooms they have for the parents. It was nice to be able to be with him at his feedings. We were so sick of being at the hospital by the time we left. We are so happy to have him!!!

Carson and I went to Utah to see Jeremiah and Jenny's family. We had a great time. We took Carson bowling for the first time. We also celebrated Bodie's 3rd birthday. We had a great time. It is always hard to leave!!!

We went to Nana and Papa's cabin last week for a little R&R. Carson loved watching all his cousins run around and play. And I loved keeping Carson out of every cupboard, closet and drawer...you get the idea. It was a long drive, but with the help of Baby Einstein, a few toys and a LOT of treats, we made it!!
